Be careful what you wish for...

I hesitate in posting this but here goes. Having been without the van this week, I realize that I don't HAVE to go anywhere nearly everyday. It's ridiculous! Do we really need to "do" something everyday? NO! Now obviously a few trips to Walmart and Target would have been a lot cheaper than the $800+ it cost to get the van fixed but the checkbook speaks for itself otherwise. Why do we always need to be on the go? There's plenty to do right here at home. Does this mean I'm not going to drive the van? NO! But I'm going to try driving it a whole lot less! I'll get off of my soapbox now!

The Smokies

Here are a few pictures from our trip! We had a great time! The mountains are beautiful! It was so good to get away for a few days but we are all glad to be back home. The cat survived and the house is still standing! Of course the van is in the garage, the mountain drive was just too much! But thank God we made it home safely!

We're off!

Thank God! After getting good news from Sydney's Dr. we've decided to take advantage of Dad's week off and take a little trip to celebrate! We're headed for the Smokies! We haven't been in a LONG time. Neil was only 5 and Cole was just a baby the last time we were there. We're all very excited to go! We are so thankful for all of the prayers! Please keep them coming! See you soon...

The 4th!

We celebrated Sydney's 1st July 4th by going downtown! It's one of our little traditions that we really enjoy. The kids had a great time watching the parade and the weather was perfect!
